Having never had cbt before I was a little unsure what to expect but Elizabeth put me at ease straight away. She has a lovely personality and is very easy to talk to. I am now in a much better place than I was and feel much more confident about facing life. This is all down to Elizabeth. I found the therapy hugely helpful and after about 12 sessions found that I was back to my usual self and had my confidence back... It was a bit like untangling a knotted ball of wool by going through various tasks and making me understand what had happened to me and how to deal with it.

CBT therapy enabled me to confront my issues and deal with them head on, so that I could once again do the things that I loved to do, and to see the people who really mattered in my life...
...The exercises from my therapy provided me with the staple ground to move froward, and also to question the mode of thought that had thus imprisoned me in the first place. I feel that I was in a state of arrested-development before I started my sessions, and that somehow CBT has caused me to regain the ground that I had lost.

My son (16) was very cynical in his first session and didn’t think it would have an effect...Session by session my son became more confident and less anxious. The sessions were done in such a way that he felt relaxed and believed that he could overcome the challenges he had faced.
The last session was extremely emotional as my son’s confidence had grown so that he was able to partake in social activities.
